Overview
The B&W RVK3770 is a 20K Companion OEM 5th wheel slider hitch kit for towing a fifth-wheel trailer from a short bed truck. It is designed for 16-19 Chevrolet and GMC 2500 and 3500 trucks with a GM factory-installed prep package.
The slider gives twelve inches of slide, which adds room to maneuver a fifth-wheel trailer in a short bed. The two-piece kit has no mounting rails, so it installs and removes without leaving hardware in the bed. Cam action latching, a fully articulating head and 1-inch thick wrap-around jaws are the main working parts. Confirm fit before ordering.

Setup and removal for a slider
A slider head rides on the rails and locks in place with a cam latch, so smooth latching and full seating matter for every tow. Before hooking up, confirm the head is fully engaged and the latch is closed. Because the design has no mounting rails, the bed is free for other loads when the slider is removed.
Removable sliders need regular care. Keep the latch and pivot points clean, check the polyurethane bushings for cracks or flattening, and lubricate moving parts lightly. Worn bushings can allow rattling and play, which reduces control on rough roads. Inspect the jaws and head for wear every few tows.
