Overview
The Bestop HighRock 4×4 2 Inch Receiver Recovery D-Ring (part number 42922-01) slides into any 2-inch receiver hitch to serve as a recovery point. It is universal fit, so it is not tied to a particular vehicle.

Using a receiver recovery point
A receiver-mounted recovery point connects to the vehicle through the hitch, so the strength of the receiver, its tube and the hitch pin all matter. Use a hitch pin and clip that match the receiver, and avoid side loads that can bend the pin or the receiver over time.
Recovery straps and shackles should be rated for the load and attached to the D-ring itself, not to the receiver. Pulls should be straight and smooth rather than jerky, and the strap should be kept clear of the bumper and taillights. After any recovery, inspect the receiver for cracks, bends or excessive play, and replace worn pins or clips.
