Overview
The TeraFlex Nomad Off-Road Wheel, part number TER1056050, is a 17×8.5 black cast alloy wheel with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern, a 0 offset and 4.75 inch backspacing. It is made for TeraFlex JL/JLU and JK/JKU vehicles, which covers the 2018 to 2022 Jeep Wrangler JL and Wrangler Unlimited JLU and the 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and Wrangler Unlimited JKU.
The Nomad takes the classic six-hole wheel and gives it a technical look. Its modular plug system works with the proprietary Air Deflator Valve, which lets you air down tires quickly to a preset pressure. An adjustment screw sets that preset as low as 10 psi.

Air down and reinflate safely
Lowering tire pressure on the trail improves grip on loose surfaces, but it also changes how the tire sits on the bead and how the vehicle steers. Before returning to pavement, reinflate with a portable compressor or at a service station and check each tire with a gauge. Keep the valve cap and stem housing in place so grit does not reach the valve.
Air down only as far as the terrain calls for, and reinflate in steps to avoid overheating a compressor. Check the bead seal after reinflating, since a tire that has come off the bead will not hold pressure. After a large pressure change, check the reset procedure for your vehicle before driving.

Installation notes

Not included: Tires are not included, and the Air Deflator Valve is not part of this kit.
