- Black finish
- Horizontal bar style
- Overlay design
Choosing an overlay grille
An overlay grille sits in front of the existing grille rather than replacing it, so the shape of the opening and the bar spacing shape the look. Horizontal bars read as wide and low, which suits a broad front end. Compare the bar spacing with the factory grille, since a mismatch is easy to spot once installed.
Black finishes hide dust better than bright ones but show road film at the edges of an overlay. Clean the seams with a soft brush, and keep fasteners snug so the grille does not rattle over rough roads. Replacing clips that have worn or cracked helps keep the fit tight.
- Check bar spacing against the factory grille
- Look over clips for cracks before reuse
