Overview
The Rubicon Express RE7532 is an Extreme-Duty long arm rear tri-link upgrade for Jeep Wrangler LJ owners who already run a Rubicon Express Super-Flex short arm suspension. It is built to keep on-road ride close to stock while adding off-road capability.
The tri-link design eliminates the rear track bar, which Rubicon Express says allows true up and down wheel travel and better anti-squat on steep climbs. The kit is bolt-on for factory Dana 35 and Dana 44 rear ends, and it uses 4130 chromoly control arms with a .250 wall.
Key features
- Chromoly Extreme-Duty long arms
- PT-Meg Super-Ride bushings
- Three-piece belly pan
- Rear stainless steel brake lines
- Builder Ball misalignment joint
- Eliminates the rear track bar
Tri-link geometry on the trail
A tri-link rear end locates the axle with three links instead of a track bar, so side-to-side control comes from the arm angles and their mounting points. On steep climbs the links resist axle wrap and help keep the axle pointed where the driveline expects it. Bushings and joints carry the load, so their condition matters more than it would on a simpler rear end.
Because the links replace the track bar, inspect them as a set. Look for cracked welds on the arms, torn bushing sleeves and any play in the Builder Ball joint. Recheck bolt torque after the first few trail runs, since new bushings settle as they seat.
- Inspect control arm welds after rough trail use
- Check bushings for splits or movement under load
- Look for wear in the misalignment joint

Vehicle fitment
It fits the Jeep Wrangler LJ in the 2004 to 2006 range for owners who already have a Super-Flex short arm system.
It does not cover TJ, JK or JL Wranglers. Check your year, model and trim against the fit before ordering.
Installation notes
The three-piece belly pan must be fitted for transfer case and transmission access. Lift heights vary with the system being upgraded, so confirm the existing setup before the job starts, and check alignment and driveline angles afterward.
On the road, the upgrade is designed to ride close to stock while improving off-road performance. Lift height depends on the existing system, so the setup already on the vehicle sets the final height.
What’s included
Front and rear chromoly control arms, PT-Meg Super-Ride bushings, the three-piece belly pan, rear stainless steel brake lines and the Builder Ball joint.
