Overview
The Rubicon Express RE6307 is a 7.5-inch Extreme-Duty long arm lift kit for the 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It is a direct fit for the Base, Briarwood, Chief, Classic, Country, Laredo, Limited, Pioneer, SE and Sport trims.

Clearance at a large lift
A lift of this height changes how the body sits over the axles, so check the clearance between the body, the fuel tank, the brake lines and the exhaust during the install. The longer arms and the crossmember need room to move through their full travel. Recheck clearance at full droop as well as at full compression.
Driveline length and angle are the other key items. A lift this size can change the pinion angle enough to cause vibration, so measure it after installation. Plan for the steering and brake lines to be lengthened or routed differently, and inspect the bump stops for the new ride height.
