Description

Overview

The RE7127FPR is a 3.5 inch Super-Flex lift kit for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2-door. It comes with Fox Performance Resi shocks, the reservoir version of the FOX Performance Series.

The kit upgrades the lower control arms to adjustable Super-Flex arms and adds a front track bar that can be adjusted. Coil springs, extended bump stops and sway bar disconnects complete the package, and the listed lift height range is 2.5 to 3.5 inches.

The FOX Performance shocks are covered by the FOX warranty and do not fall under the Rubicon Express Advantage Warranty, so warranty questions for the shocks are handled by FOX.

Key features

  • Super-Flex front suspension with adjustable lower control arms
  • Adjustable front track bar
  • Fox Performance Resi shocks
  • Coil springs
  • Extended bump stops
  • Sway bar disconnects

Living with Super-Flex arms

Super-Flex arms are built to let the axle articulate on uneven ground, which is why this type of front suspension is common on trail-focused Jeep builds. Because the arms are adjustable, a shop can set the axle location and front geometry, but the adjustment should be checked after every change. The adjustable front track bar keeps the axle centered under the body as the arms travel, so it should be checked whenever the arms are changed.

Super-Flex arms tend to wear at the joints over time, especially on vehicles that see rocks and deep mud. Grease fittings and boot seals should be inspected regularly, and any play in the joints should be dealt with before it becomes noisy or affects steering. Resi shocks can be checked for fluid leaks at the reservoir hose during the same service.

Questions & Answers

Does the RE7127FPR fit a 2-door Jeep Wrangler JK?

Yes, for 2-door models. The kit is in the JK range, which is the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK). Confirm the year and trim before ordering.

What do the Fox Performance Resi shocks mean?

The Resi shock is the reservoir version of the FOX Performance Series, offered as an option for these kit numbers. The shocks carry the FOX warranty.

What lift height range is covered?

The kit covers 2.5 to 3.5 inches and is sold as a 3.5 inch lift with coil springs, adjustable lower control arms and a Super-Flex front suspension.

Do Super-Flex arms need more maintenance than coil springs alone?

They need regular inspection of joints, boots and track bar mounts. Check for play and grease at each service and after off-road use. Routine checks catch wear early, so the lift keeps its alignment and steering feel.
