Overview
The Rubicon Express JL7141PB is a standard lift kit with piggyback reservoir monotube shocks for the 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler (JL), two-door and Unlimited four-door. The kit is listed at 1.5 to 2 inches of suspension lift, with a lift height range of 0 to 3.5 inches.
The system clears 35-inch tires on a loaded non-Rubicon model and 37-inch tires on a Rubicon model. It uses coil springs at the rear and includes shocks at all four corners.

Piggyback reservoirs and upkeep
Piggyback reservoir shocks place the reservoir in a separate body beside the shock, which gives the oil more room to cool during long climbs and repeated bumps. The separate reservoir sits on the shock body and connects by a hose. Check the hose and reservoir mounts for chafing or leaks after the first few drives, because the reservoir can rub against the frame or a tire if it is not secured.
A coil spring lift changes the angle of each shock, so the mounting points carry more load than they did stock. Choose a tire size the suspension was designed around, and avoid much larger tires, since added weight and rolling diameter stress the shocks and the driveline. Recheck the alignment after installation and inspect the control arm bushings over the first few months of use.

Installation notes
