Overview
The JBR1199XPR is a front slotted and cross-drilled brake rotor for the 2008–2017 INFINITI QX56, Nissan Armada, Nissan Titan and Nissan Titan XD. It is a direct fit, with beveled, precision-drilled holes that help hold temperatures down during extreme braking.
It suits owners of the 2008–2017 INFINITI QX56, Nissan Armada, Nissan Titan and Nissan Titan XD who want a front rotor with a slotted and cross-drilled face rather than a plain disc.
Heat management is the main reason for drilled and slotted designs: braking turns motion into heat, and the rotor has to shed it.
Key features
- Slotted and cross-drilled front rotor
- Direct fit for the listed vehicles
- Cross-drilled holes that Power Stop says keep rotors up to 180°F cooler
- Mill balanced
- Looks good behind custom or factory wheels
- Tru-Cast precision machining
- Designed to reduce brake fade
- Beveled, precision-drilled holes to help hold temperatures down in extreme braking
- G3000 grade cast
Heat and fade in daily use
Drilled and slotted rotors are designed to move heat and gas away from the pad, which matters most when the brakes are used hard. On daily driving the difference is small, but on long downgrades or while towing, the rotor’s ability to shed heat becomes more noticeable. Pads matter here too, since the friction material determines how the face wears.
Because this rotor fits full-size trucks and SUVs, it is worth matching it with pads rated for the vehicle’s weight and use. Inspect the rotor for heat checking, which looks like fine cracks across the face, and replace it if the surface no longer runs true.
- Match pads to towing and load needs
- Look for heat checking across the friction face
- Allow brakes to cool after a long descent
- Replace the rotor when it no longer runs true

Vehicle fitment
It is a direct fit for the 2008–2010 INFINITI QX56 (Base); the 2007–2015 and 2017 Nissan Armada (LE, Platinum, SE, SL, SV, Titanium); the 2008–2015 Nissan Titan (LE, PRO-4X, S, SE, SL, SV, XE); and the 2016–2017 Nissan Titan XD (PRO-4X, Platinum Reserve, S, SL, SV).
Measure the diameter, thickness, bolt pattern and weight of the rotor you are replacing, and compare those figures with this part before buying.
The QX56 covers 2008–2010, the Armada 2007–2015 and 2017, the Titan 2008–2015 and the Titan XD 2016–2017. Check your year, model and trim before buying.
Installation notes
After installation, test the brakes at low speed in a safe area before returning to normal driving.
What’s included
The JBR1199XPR is a single brake rotor and includes no other components.
Not included: No brake pads or caliper hardware are listed with the rotor, so they would come separately.
