The kit clears tires up to 34.5 inches and includes four Outlaw High Lifter DHT XL axles custom tuned for the 8-inch lift.

The kit is built for a smooth ride and a bolt-on fit. It does not come with trailing arms. It is available raw or in custom colors, and powder coating takes up to 5 days.

Key features

  • 8-inch lift height
  • Four Outlaw High Lifter DHT XL axles custom tuned for this kit
  • Clears tires up to 34.5 inches, per High Lifter
  • Bolt-on application for a precise fit
  • Available raw or in custom colors

Choosing a lift height

A lift raises the body and chassis relative to the axles, which opens room for larger tires and more suspension travel. Taller lifts change driveline angles more than modest ones, so the CV joints and axle shafts operate at steeper angles. That is why a kit is matched to its own axles rather than reusing stock parts. Before buying, think about the tires you plan to run and how often you ride rocky or rutted terrain.

A lift also affects steering geometry, brake line length and wiring. Check that the brake lines and harnesses have enough slack after the kit is installed, and confirm that steering components clear the new position. Many owners have the alignment checked after any lift and recheck the fasteners after the first few trail runs.

  • Tire size you plan to run
  • Driveline angle after the lift
  • Brake line and harness length
  • Trailing arm requirements for your build

Questions & Answers

Does this 8-inch kit come with trailing arms?

No. This version does not come with trailing arms. It includes four DHT XL axles tuned for the 8-inch lift.

Will it fit a 2016 RZR XP 4 1000?

Yes. It fits the 2015–2016 RZR XP 4 1000 as well as the RZR XP 1000, so a 2016 model is covered.

How long does custom powder coating take?

High Lifter says to allow up to 5 days for custom powder-coated colors. The kit is also available raw, without coating.

How often should lift kit fasteners be checked?

Check them after the first few trail runs, then at regular intervals. Look for loosening, wear at the mounts, and any change in steering or ride feel. Retighten each fastener to the correct torque for its size.

Do lift kits usually need other upgrades?

Often, yes. Larger tires and a higher lift can put more load on the axles and steering, so many owners also check brake lines, driveline angles and alignment. Confirm fit for your model year and trim before ordering any add-on part.
