Overview
The Fab Fours JL1001-1 is a rear Grumper fender for the Jeep Wrangler JL, sold as a pair in black and listed under part number FFIJL1001-1. Fab Fours designed it exclusively for the JL, and it is a rear replacement fender made in one piece.

Fender fit and trail clearance
Rear fenders on a Wrangler JL cover the tire and wheel area, so their shape affects both coverage and the path of mud and rocks thrown by the tires. Mud and rock spray also reach the rear quarter panels. A wider coverage panel can reduce spray onto the body, but it should clear the tire at full articulation. Check clearance by turning the wheel lock to lock and cycling the suspension before the first trail run.
One piece fenders are simple to handle, but they still need checking after installation. Look for even gaps around the wheel opening, and confirm the fasteners are tight after the first few trips. Rear fenders often change fit when other accessories such as larger tires or a rear bumper are added, so re-check fit whenever another exterior part changes.
