Overview
The California Super Trucks CSB-C14-2 is a lift block kit that provides a 2 in. lift. It is a fabricated block set.
Alignment and driveline checks
Lift blocks move the axle or suspension relative to the chassis, which changes ride height and the angles of driveline joints. Those changes can increase vibration, wear joints faster or affect steering geometry if the wheels are no longer square. An alignment after installation helps the tires wear evenly and keeps the steering predictable.
Before fitting the blocks, check the mounting bolts, U-bolts and brackets against the parts in the box, and look over the brake lines and wiring for stretching. Recheck all fasteners once the vehicle has been driven a short distance, since the new geometry can settle the parts. Keep the old blocks until the vehicle has been driven on a few routes and inspected for rubbing or unusual noise.
