Overview
The BedRug Complete Truck Bed Liner, part number BRQ09SBSGK, is a custom-formed bed liner made from 100% polypropylene with a carpet-like fiber surface. It covers the truck bed floor and includes a bulkhead section and a tailgate section, so the protection runs across the bed and the tailgate as one connected piece. Confirm fit for your year, model and trim before ordering.
The surface is soft to the touch and easy on the knees, so it is comfortable to kneel on while loading. It is designed to absorb impact on the bed floor, guarding against dents and scuffs while keeping cargo from sliding.
Key features
- 100% polypropylene construction, which BedRug describes as an ultra tough work surface.
- Carpet-like, slip and skid resistant fiber surface that helps keep cargo from shifting in transport.
- 3/4 inch closed cell foam floor that will not absorb water.
- Water runs off the fiber surface and out through the truck bed drain holes.
- Non-corrosive zinc alloy zipper.
- Tailgate section connected to the liner, with a hinge that prevents opening between the bed and tailgate.
- Holds up to bleach, oil, gas and battery acid, which wash right off.
- Custom formed to the contour and shape of the bed for a snug, tight fit with a smooth, flat surface.
- Maintains the original shape and features of the truck bed, with full access to factory tie-downs.
Protecting the bed floor
A bed liner is a sacrificial layer between the truck floor and whatever goes into the bed. Tool boxes, pallets and rock can dent or scrape painted steel, so a thick, textured liner absorbs much of that abuse. Over time, a liner also keeps the original bed finish intact.
Foam-backed floors and fiber surfaces behave differently under load. Closed cell foam resists water, so spills and rain stay on top until they drain through the bed holes. Check those drain holes periodically and clear leaves or mud so water keeps moving out rather than pooling.
Zinc alloy zippers and hinges need occasional attention. Rinse grit from them, and avoid grinding debris into the seams. If a hinge or zipper starts to bind, inspect for debris before forcing it, since forcing can bend the fastener.
- Clear debris from bed drain holes
- Rinse grit from zippers and hinges
- Inspect bulkhead and tailgate seams after heavy loads
- Dry the surface before storing wet gear
