Overview
The TeraFlex Alpha Hi-Lift Jack Mount Kit, part number 4838250, is a heavy-duty Hi-Lift jack mount for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, in both 2-door and Unlimited 4-door form. It gives a secure, quiet mounting point for a Hi-Lift jack, bolted to the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier.
The mount is made from 3/16 inch thick laser cut steel with powder coated bracket bolts, which gives a stable mounting point. The kit has a built-in CB antenna mount and an off-road flag mount. A separate Alpha RotopaX Mount Kit, part number 4838255, lets you mount RotopaX containers to either the Hi-Lift jack handle or the jack mount.

Keeping the mount secure
A Hi-Lift jack and a spare tire on one carrier add a lot of load to the hinge and bracket. Check the carrier hinge, mounting points and bracket bolts after rough trails, since vibration works hardware loose over time. Keep the spare tire and jack locked in place so they cannot swing against the mount.
Accessories on the same bracket need room of their own. Keep the antenna cable routed clear of the jack handle, and make sure the off-road flag does not catch branches or the jack during a recovery. If you carry RotopaX containers on the jack handle or mount, confirm the total load is secure before driving.
