Overview
The Pro Comp Suspension 63014 is a set of billet aluminum reservoir clamps machined from 6061 aluminum. Five sizes are available to fit a 2 inch diameter reservoir or an MX6 reservoir to the shock body, or a 1.5 inch shock hoop.
The finned design is meant to dissipate heat from the remote reservoir. One pair is needed per shock.

Heat and remote reservoirs
Shock absorbers work hard, and heat builds up quickly when they are compressed and released repeatedly on rough ground. A remote reservoir gives the oil more room to cool, and clamps that hold it securely help keep it in its best position. Choosing a clamp that matches the reservoir size is the first step, since a loose fit lets the reservoir knock against the frame.
Aluminum clamps are light and hold a finish well, but they can be damaged by over-tightening. Start each bolt by hand, tighten in small steps, and stop once the reservoir stops moving. Inspect the clamps periodically for cracks, loose inserts and corrosion at the contact points. If the reservoir runs hot to the touch after a drive, check the mounting and airflow before blaming the shock.
