Overview
The Fab Fours Matrix Series front bumper with pre-runner guard, part number FFITT14-X3852-1, is a black steel winch bumper for 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra trucks. It fits the 1794 Edition, Limited, Nightshade, Platinum, SR, SR5, TRD Pro and Trail trims shown on the fitment.
The bumper uses the Matrix design, which combines a slim profile with a winch mount and LED capability. It holds a 30-inch light bar with two LED cubes on each side, and it accommodates a winch of up to 12,000 lb.
Winch-ready means the bumper has the mounting points a winch needs. Integrated D-ring mounts on each side give a fixed point for recovery gear, and the hoop and light mounts are included with this pre-runner guard version.
The Matrix design combines the Premium and Vengeance series. The stinger is not included, so add one separately if needed. A no-guard Tundra version is sold under a separate part number.

Mounting and recovery points
Recovery gear depends on strong, well-placed mounting points. Integrated D-ring mounts on each side give a fixed point for a shackle and strap, and they should be used with rated recovery equipment only. Avoid attaching chains or straps to the bumper’s bolts or thin brackets, since those parts are not built for pulling loads.
A winch needs a clean line to the bumper. Check that the fairlead, the winch cable and the hook can move freely without rubbing the bumper or the guard’s welds. Keep the winch wiring routed away from heat and sharp edges, and use a properly fused circuit from the battery.
After any hard recovery, look over the mounts, the welds and the bolts that hold the bumper to the frame. Re-check torque and repair any bent or cracked parts before the next pull.
