Rear leveling considerations
A rear leveling kit mainly restores height to a rear end that has settled under cargo, a trailer hitch load or a winch. Spacers raise the coil spring seat, so the rear shocks, brake lines and bump stops all sit in a slightly different position afterward. Look over those parts during install, since a higher body changes how the suspension travels.
Tire choice goes hand in hand with a rear lift. A larger tire adds rolling diameter and can rub in the wheel wells at full compression, so measure clearance before committing. Worn rear shocks are a common reason to replace them alongside the spacers, and springs can settle a little after the first few drives, so recheck clearance once the vehicle has been driven a while.
