Overview
The Bestop HighRock 4×4 stainless steel tubular grille guard, part number 42906-00, is a polished stainless steel grille guard made to fit the HighRock 4×4 front bumper on the Jeep Wrangler (YJ, TJ and LJ). It protects both the grille and the headlights.
The guard has light tabs for mounting off-road lights and is not a weld-on part.

Mounting and light use
A grille guard is a front-end accessory, and the way it is mounted affects both protection and everyday use. Because this guard is not welded on, it bolts to the bumper structure, so the fasteners should be checked after the first trips over rough ground. Movement between the guard and the bumper can wear the holes and rattle, which is usually the first sign that a bolt has worked loose.
Light tabs make it practical to add off-road lights, but added lights increase weight at the front and need wiring that is fused and routed clear of moving parts. Check that the guard does not restrict the hood or interfere with headlight aim. Polished stainless shows water spots and fingerprints, so a regular wipe keeps the finish looking clean.
