Overview
The Beams 3-point shoulder harness belt in tan, part number F0721-637404, is a retractable replacement seat belt for the 1976–1983 Jeep CJ5, 1976–1986 Jeep CJ7, 1981–1985 Jeep Scrambler and 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It is built to meet current Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and includes mounting hardware. It is a factory replacement belt.

Seat belts and crash loads
A seat belt is designed to hold the occupant in a crash, so its anchor points carry much of the load. Before fitting any belt, inspect the body metal and bolt holes for rust, cracks or elongation. A replacement belt cannot make up for a weak mounting point, and the anchor should be sound before the belt goes on.
A retractable belt is made to lock during a sudden stop and to return smoothly when released. Dust, sand and moisture can slow the retractor, and the webbing can wear where it rubs on the seat frame. Clean the webbing with mild soap and water, and let it dry fully before the belt is used again.

Installation notes
A 6 extension bracket, part OAI13202.03, must also be acquired separately. Replace the belt if it becomes worn, frayed or damaged.
