Overview
The Beams Industries JPTJ0306F-52 is a replacement front 3-point shoulder harness seat belt in Military Green (Olive Drab) for the 2003-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ. It restrains a driver or front passenger with a retractable lap and shoulder belt, and it is sold individually.
A worn, frayed or damaged belt cannot give adequate protection, so an aging front belt should be replaced. This belt meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and is tested, assembled and sewn in the U.S.A. It suits everyday driving and trail riding.
Key features
- Retractable 3-point belt for the front driver or passenger seat
- Military Green (Olive Drab) color
- Factory replacement listing with direct fit mounting
- Designed to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
- Tested, assembled and sewn in the U.S.A.
Choosing a front belt replacement
Replacing a front seat belt is a matter of matching the seat position, the mount type and the belt color to the vehicle. A 3-point retractable belt combines a lap and shoulder restraint in one unit, so the front seat it covers should be checked before ordering. Keep the other front seat in mind too, since each seat uses its own belt.
Check the seat’s anchor points and bolts before fitting. Worn hardware can change how the belt holds in a sudden stop. After installation, let the belt retract fully, pull it out sharply to confirm it locks, and check that the buckle latches firmly.
Olive drab belts are often chosen to match a military style interior. The color does not change the belt’s function, so choose it for appearance only after confirming fit.
- Confirm the seat position before ordering
- Inspect anchor bolts for rust or wear
- Test the retractor after fitting
