Overview
The Advance Adapters 303008L is a JK Atlas II shifter for the Atlas II transfer case. It is designed around the stock JK console and fits 2007–2016 Jeep Wrangler (JK) models.
It will not fit the factory transfer case, so use it with Atlas II installations only.
Key features
- Designed around the stock JK console
- For use only with the Atlas II transfer case
- Suited to 2 and 4-door models
- Uses a new cable linkage
Atlas II installation planning
Swapping to an Atlas II transfer case changes more than the case itself. The shifter, linkage and electrical connections all need to match the new unit, so planning the job before starting avoids partial installs. A clear list of parts needed for the swap helps prevent a stalled project in the driveway.
Plan for the console work, the cable linkage and the low range switch interface before disassembly. Take photos of the stock routing so you can compare it during reassembly. Check that the shifter returns cleanly to each gate, since a binding linkage is easier to fix before the console goes back together.
- Photograph the stock linkage routing before disassembly
- Check the shifter returns to each gate
- Confirm the low range interface is on hand

Installation notes
Installation requires taking the stock JK console apart and removing the factory shifter. The new cable linkage is installed during that process.
