Overview
The Stainless Steel Brakes 23433AA3R is the front right Big Bite cross-drilled rotor for the 1977–1986 Chevrolet K30, 1990–1993 Dodge W250 and W350, 1977–1978 GMC K35 and 1987–1991 GMC V3500. It is a coated, direct-fit rotor.
The Big Bite line is cross drilled and slotted, with drilled holes that release heat from the pads and Turbo slots that keep the pad face clean.
Key features
- Front right position
- Big Bite cross-drilled rotor
- Holes vent super heated gases
- Turbo slots for pad cleanliness and grip
- Coated rotor
Choosing a work truck rotor
A front rotor on a heavy work truck is exposed to repeated heavy stops, towing and dust, so the choice of rotor and pad matters more than on a light vehicle. Cross drilled rotors can suit drivers who brake hard often, but the holes and slots also form wear points, so keep an eye on pad life.
When buying a replacement, check the part number against the axle side and the truck’s existing front axle layout. A matched pair keeps braking even. Brake pads should be replaced at the same service so the friction surfaces wear together.
Heavy use also raises the heat that reaches the caliper and fluid, so keep brake fluid fresh.
- Match the rotor to the axle side
- Replace pads with the rotor
- Flush brake fluid on the schedule
- Inspect the friction face at each service
