Overview
The Smittybilt J0764 is a set of nerf steps for the four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JK) from 2007 to 2018. It fits the 70th Anniversary, 75th Anniversary, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, Sport S and X versions, and the steps run wheel to wheel.
The steps use a 3-inch main tube and a drop-down design finished with a cleated step plate. Each bar is custom made for its application and mounts through a secure attachment. The design is a next-generation side step for the JK.
The finish is textured matte black. The bars are 304 marine grade stainless steel, and the drop steps are welded, then ground and smoothed for a finished look. A limited lifetime warranty applies, so review its terms before ordering.

Stainless bars and finish care
Marine grade stainless resists corrosion well, which suits trucks that see salt, spray and wet trails. The textured finish helps hide small scratches, but it can also trap grit in the pattern. A stiff brush and mild cleaner keep the surface clean, and a rinse after trips keeps buildup from settling into the texture.
