Overview
The Rubicon Express 1.75 Inch Coil Spring Spacer Lift Kit, part number RE1325, is a pair of front coil spring spacers that give a 1.75-inch lift. It fits 2-door and 4-door models.
Coil spring spacers add lift to a coil spring and keep the coil’s performance intact. They can also help compensate for extra front weight.
Key features
- 1.75-inch front lift
- Sold as a pair
- Fits 2-door and 4-door models
- Spacers stay in place off road
Front spacers and alignment
Front coil spacers raise the vehicle by moving the upper seat, so the spring itself is unchanged. The new height affects caster, steering geometry and brake hose length, which is why an alignment check is normal after the install. Tires may also rub at full lock if the front rises much, so plan a steering test after installation.
Many owners replace the front shocks or check the bump stops when they raise the front. Mark each spring seat before removing the old spacer, and keep the work to one side at a time so the vehicle stays stable. Inspect the front coils for wear and corrosion, since a worn coil reduces the benefit of any spacer. Keep the spacer hardware in a labeled bag so nothing gets lost during reassembly.
- Mark spring seat positions before removal
- Check steering stops after the lift
- Inspect front coil springs for wear
