Overview
The Poison Spyder Tire Carrier Delete Plate with Camera Mount in black, part number 19-04-013P1, is a CNC laser cut aluminum cover plate for the 2018–2022 Jeep Wrangler JL, 2-door and 4-door. It cleans up the rear of the Wrangler when the tailgate-mounted spare tire is removed.
The plate conceals the cabin air vents and the spare tire mount bolt holes and gives a convenient place to re-mount the license plate. It includes a camera relocating bracket, made from 300 Grade Stainless Steel, so the factory camera can be moved to the plate.

Rear camera and cargo area
Removing a tailgate-mounted spare changes the look of the back of the Jeep and exposes areas that a plate can cover. A cover plate is mainly about appearance and sealing off the vent and bolt openings, so it works best when the rest of the rear panel is in good condition. Camera placement is the other practical concern, and the bracket keeps the lens position fixed once it is mounted.
Before mounting the plate, clean the tailgate surface and check that the OE bolt holes line up cleanly. Make sure the license plate and any lighting or wiring behind the cover stay clear of the mounting points. Aluminum plates can be cleaned with mild soap, and a light check of the fasteners after a few weeks of driving helps them stay tight.

Installation notes
