Overview
The Mishimoto MMOC-F is a heavy-duty transmission cooler with an 8-inch electric fan. Mishimoto built it for heavy-duty trucks and for supercharged or turbocharged applications.
The cooler has a 100% aluminum tube-and-fin core designed to keep transmission temperatures low. The kit is universal fit, so no specific year, make or model applies.

Cooling and airflow basics
A transmission cooler works by moving hot fluid through a core where airflow carries heat away. At highway speed, natural airflow usually does most of the work. At idle, in traffic or while towing, a fan can keep the fluid from climbing, which is why an electric fan is a useful addition for trucks that work hard or sit in heavy traffic.
Plan the layout before mounting. The core needs clear airflow, a secure mount that resists vibration, and hoses routed away from heat sources. Fan wiring should run through a fuse, and the relay and switch should be placed where they stay dry and out of the way of the drivetrain.
