Overview
The Bestop WrapAround Windjammer 80035-35 in Black Diamond is a windjammer for the 2004 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) and the 2003 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). It wraps around the sport bars to help protect the cockpit from dust, wind and rain.
Bestop makes this windjammer from heavy-duty factory original fabric with 30 mil vinyl windows. It attaches to the center sound bar and sport bars, and it has a vinyl window for visibility to the rear and a lower cut-out for access to the rear cargo area.

Installation checks
A windjammer that wraps the sport bars has to sit square before the fabric is tensioned. Work from the center sound bar outward, and make sure the window edges and lower cut-out line up with the cockpit opening. Uneven tension can pull the fabric out of shape and let wind in along one side, so take time with the first fit.
After installation, drive at low speed and listen for flapping or rattling. Loose edges are the most common source of noise, and they often show up after the first few drives as the material settles. Re-check the attachment points and the stitching at stress areas, and keep the enclosure clean and dry so the fabric and window stay in good condition.

Installation notes
Line up the windjammer with the sport bars and sound bar before fastening. Attach the fabric as the instructions direct and check clearance with other soft top parts. Test fit before final tightening, and check clearance with doors, the hood, the tailgate and moving parts. Protect paint and trim with masking tape during installation, use only the specified hardware, and re-check the attachment after the first miles of driving.
