Overview
The Bestop Windjammer in Black Diamond (part number 80032-35) is a rear enclosure for Jeep Wrangler soft tops that closes off the back of the cabin and keeps passengers warm and dry. It reduces the back drafts that make a soft top uncomfortable, and a large clear window gives visibility to the rear. Reducing drafts in a rear enclosure
Drafts usually come from gaps between the enclosure and the soft top, not from the fabric itself. Air moves through any opening at the top edge, the access door or the cargo cut-out. Fitting the enclosure with the soft top in place and checking the edges for light or movement makes a noticeable difference in comfort.
Soft top frames flex over time, so the mounting points may need adjustment after a few months. Retighten the sport bar and floor channel attachments after initial use, and watch for stretched fabric where the enclosure meets the top. Replacing worn zippers and seals is often the simplest fix.
