Overview
The Bestop Windjammer in Black (part number 80028-01) is a soft enclosure for the rear of the cabin on Jeep CJ5, CJ7, Scrambler and YJ Wrangler models. It fits 1980–1983 CJ5, 1980–1986 CJ7, 1981–1985 Scrambler and 1987–1995 Wrangler (YJ) vehicles.
The enclosure keeps the cabin warm and dry. A large clear window gives rear visibility, a roll-up access door provides entry, and a lower cut-out opens onto the rear cargo area. The black vinyl fabric is premium, mildew-resistant and UV-resistant, with high strength thread at all stress points.

Mounting and sealing tips
A rear enclosure works only when the top edge and the bottom edge are both secure. The center sport bar carries the upper attachment, so check that it is tight and free of rust before fitting. The lower channel should sit firmly against the floor riser so wind cannot lift the bottom edge.
Gaps at the access door and the cargo cut-out are the usual source of drafts. Close the door and zippers fully, then look for light or movement around the edges. Vinyl windows stiffen in cold weather, so handle them gently when the temperature drops.
