Overview
The Bestop Windjammer in Black Denim, part number 80028-15, is a rear enclosure for a soft top that closes the back of the cabin to keep passengers warm and dry. It is designed to fit the 1980–1983 Jeep CJ5, 1980–1986 Jeep CJ7, 1981–1985 Jeep Scrambler and 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ).

Fitting and fabric care
Fabric enclosures like this one hold their shape best when they are installed snugly and kept clean. Dirt and grit left on the fabric can wear the surface, and a damp enclosure stored tightly folded may develop mildew, even when the fabric is treated for mildew resistance. Let it air dry before folding or storing it.
The lower edge depends on the metal channel and screws into the floor riser, so inspect those fasteners after the first few drives. Loose screws can allow the lower edge to lift in wind. Clear vinyl windows can craze or crack with age, and a cleaner made for vinyl with a soft cloth is a gentler choice than harsh solvents. Check the zipper and the roll-up door for smooth operation.

Vehicle fitment
It fits 1980–1983 Jeep CJ5, 1980–1986 CJ7, 1981–1985 Scrambler and 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ). Other vehicles, including later Wrangler TJ and JK, are not covered.
Later Wrangler models such as the TJ and JK are not on the list, so do not assume the enclosure fits them. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
