Overview
The T-Rex Grilles 46965 is a Sport Series formed mesh main grille replacement in black, sold as a single-piece (1 pc.) direct-fit insert for the 2014–2018 Toyota Tundra. It is intended for owners replacing the existing main grille on these trucks rather than adding a second grille panel.
T-Rex builds its grilles for bolt-on installation with fewer tools and no cutting, and describes starting from solid aluminum stock rather than extruded aluminum. Each grille receives a durable glossy black powder-coat and three-stage polishing and cleaning, all completed at the company’s Southern California facility. Attributes give the material as steel, so confirm construction on arrival.

Main grille replacement basics
Replacing a main grille is mostly a matter of matching the mounting points and making sure the new panel sits flush with the hood and headlight edges. Before removing the old grille, photograph its clip positions and note any fasteners that hold it to the frame or radiator support. This makes it easier to transfer the right hardware and check the fit once the new panel is in.
A replacement grille takes more wear from road debris than a bumper cover, so inspect it after rough trips for chips and bent mesh. Glossy black finishes show light scratches more readily, so a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap are the safest choice. Reseat any clip that has worked loose, and recheck the panel edges after the first few drives.
