Armrests and seat fit
A seat cover works best when the seat underneath is in good shape. Before fitting the rear section, look at the armrest mounts and the backrest for loose hardware or sharp edges that could catch the neoprene. A cover pulled tight over a rough edge will wear through faster than one fitted over a clean surface.
Front seats with recliner mechanisms should be checked for free movement after the covers go on.
