Heated seats in cold weather
Heated seat covers warm the cushion and back you sit against, which helps during cold starts and long winter drives. Warm up the vehicle before choosing a setting, and start on a low level so the seat does not get too hot. The switch built into the cover lets each person choose a level from the seat.
Inspect the wiring after installation and again each season, since a pinched or cracked wire can cause uneven heating. Keep wires away from seat tracks and moving parts, and disconnect the battery before making any connection. If one zone stops heating, check the connections before assuming the element has failed.
