Overview
The Rigid Industries 40570 is a black LED grille insert for the Toyota Tundra, a two-piece stainless steel grille kit that installs in the factory grille shell and holds Rigid LED lights. It fits the 2014–2016 Toyota Tundra in the 1794 Edition, Limited, Platinum, SR, SR5 and TRD Pro trims.
The kit uses a top mounting plate that bolts in place and a custom laser-cut mesh pattern designed to match the factory Tundra grille pattern. Lights are not included. The grille is built for one 20-inch E-Series and two D-Series LED lights.

Before you install lights
Adding LED lights to a grille insert changes how the front of a truck looks and works after dark. The lights mount behind the grille face, so their brightness and beam pattern depend on how they are aimed and how cleanly the grille seats in the shell. Before drilling or wiring anything, dry-fit the grille and check that the mesh sits flush and that nothing binds against the radiator support or hood latch.
Wiring deserves the same care as the mechanical fit. A relay circuit with a fuse close to the battery keeps current draw off the switch and protects the harness if a wire chafes against the shell. Route harness runs away from hot engine components and moving parts, and secure them with clips so they do not drift. After the first few drives, recheck the mounting bolts and the light aim, since road vibration can loosen fasteners that were tightened during installation.
