Overview
The Firestone Ride-Rite 2375 is a 6 in. axle-mount air spring lift spacer, sold as a pair, for most Air Ride-Rite air helper spring systems. Its lower bracket attaches to the axle, and the bracket span is 11.5 in. to 12.5 in.
Key features
- 6 in. spacer height
- Axle mount design
- Bracket span of 11.5 in. to 12.5 in.
- Sold as a pair
Measuring bracket span
A taller spacer moves the axle further from the frame, which changes shock geometry, brake hose length and driveshaft angle. The most reliable check is a tape measurement between the centers of the existing axle brackets, taken twice from the same reference points. Compare that figure with the span this spacer covers before deciding whether it suits the vehicle.
After installation, look at the full range of suspension travel. Confirm the shocks are not bottoming out at the new height and that the brake lines have slack at full droop. Pay attention to the bump stops, since a larger lift can change when they engage. Retighten the axle bracket hardware after the first few drives and inspect the air springs periodically for wear.
