Overview
The Centerforce DF735552 is a dual friction clutch disc and pressure plate for 1971–1984 Chevrolet and GMC C and K series trucks, including Suburban versions. It also fits Chevrolet and GMC Blazer, Jimmy and Sonoma models and the 1994–1995 Chevrolet S10.
The dual friction design provides up to 90% more holding capacity than OEM and is intended for high horsepower and high torque engines. Engagement is smooth and pedal pressure is light. The warranty runs 90 days.

Choosing a clutch for more power
A clutch disc carries engine torque to the transmission, and its friction material decides how much clamping force it can hold before slipping. Dual friction discs use two friction surfaces, which spreads the load over more area and helps the clutch hold under strain. Before buying, match the clutch to your engine output and how the truck is driven. A daily driver with a stock engine has different needs from a truck that tows or launches hard off the line.
The pressure plate spring force, flywheel condition and throwout bearing all work with the disc. Replacing them together is common during a clutch job, because worn parts can shorten the life of a new disc. Look at the flywheel surface for heat cracks or scoring before reinstalling, and make sure the disc slides freely on the input shaft splines. Take the time to clean the flywheel and check the pilot bearing while everything is apart.
