Wrangler YJ sport bar setup
A YJ sport bar cover is usually installed after the bar is in its final position, since the cover needs to sit squarely over the bar. Lay the cover out and check each opening before you pull it over the bar, and make sure the cover is not twisted. A clean, dry bar and a light trial fit reduce wrinkles and help the cover settle evenly.
Wrangler YJ owners often run the bar in rough terrain, so check the cover after trail days for abrasion near the mounting points. Fabric that rubs against bar edges wears first. It fits the 1992–1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) in the Base, Islander, Renegade, Rio Grande, S, SE and Sahara trims.
The 1991 Wrangler is not a covered year, so confirm fit before ordering. Later Wrangler generations such as the TJ and JK are outside the covered applications. Match your vehicle’s year, model and trim against the covered trims before buying.
