Overview
The BD Diesel 1030423 is an exchange valve body for 2003–2007 Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 trucks. BD says each unit is modified, tuned and tested for towing and performance use.
The valve body has a revised valve design with new springs, larger oil ports and proprietary governor piston dimensions. Its hand-lapped surfaces help prevent internal leakage, and the new trim valves increase mainline pressure. The intended results are improved shift quality, more clutch holding capacity, reduced friction and longer transmission life.

Shift quality and towing setup
