Overview
The TruXedo TruXport soft roll-up tonneau cover, part number TRX280601, is a fabric bed cover for 2004–2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups, plus the 2007 Classic versions of both trucks.
The fabric rolls up by hand, and one person can handle it. The bows and rear cross member roll up with the cover, so no separate parts need to be stored.

Fit checks for older trucks
Bed length, rail style and trim all affect how a soft cover seats on an older truck. Before installing, compare the bed rails and tailgate top with the cover’s fit. If you own a Classic version, confirm the trim against the trims covered above, since that changes which versions fit.
Once installed, check the bows for even spacing and make sure the fabric is taut over the bed. Loose fabric can flap at speed and wear the edges. Retighten any fasteners after the first few drives, and recheck them periodically. Keep the rolled cover dry when stored, since trapped moisture can encourage mildew on older fabric. Taking a few minutes to inspect the setup usually prevents most fit and wear problems.

The cover fits the 2004–2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Base, Hybrid, LS, LT, SS, WT and Z71 trims, and the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic in Hybrid, LS, LT, SS and WT trims. It also fits the 2004–2006 GMC Sierra 1500 in Base, Denali, Hybrid, SL, SLE, SLT and WT trims, and the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic in Denali, Hybrid, SL, SLE, SLT and WT trims.
Non-Classic 2007 trucks and 2008 and later Silverado and Sierra 1500 models are outside the covered range. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
