Overview
The SCC Security Chain SZ143 is a passenger snow chain from the Super Z-6 range, part number SZ143. Because it mounts on the tire, tire size decides fit, and sizes run from small LT entries to low-profile sizes such as 255/35-20 and 295/30-20.
The list runs from small LT entries like 6.70-15LT and 165/85-16 through low-profile sizes such as 255/35-20 and 295/30-20. Check the full table rather than a single size before deciding whether this set suits your tires.

Choosing the right tire size
A snow chain is sized to the tire it will wear, not to the vehicle. The sidewall marking tells you the width, aspect ratio, construction and rim diameter, and each of those affects whether a chain will sit correctly. Small differences in suffix, such as a C or LT marking, can change the fit, so read the tire carefully before choosing a chain.
Chains are usually fitted when roads are icy or snow-packed, and tire clearance matters most in those conditions. Check the chain’s fit before winter arrives, ideally with the tire mounted on the vehicle. Practice fitting the chains in a dry, level space so the process is familiar when conditions are poor. Store chains dry after use and check links for wear before the next season.

Vehicle fitment
Fitment follows the tire, not the vehicle. Read the size on the sidewall, such as 235/60-17 or 7.00-15LT, and find that exact string in the list. No particular car, truck or SUV is tied to this set.
Sizes that differ only by a suffix are listed separately, so 205-16 and 205-16C are not interchangeable. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
