The H3R Performance HalGuard HG250B is a black 2.5 lb. clean agent fire extinguisher. HalGuard uses an electrically non-conductive clean agent that turns into a gas rapidly, so it can put out fires without leaving residue behind.
The 2.5 lb. size is one of the compact HalGuard options, alongside a 1.4 lb. unit. The HalGuard agent has Underwriters Laboratories testing and meets FAA requirements. Larger HalGuard units from 5 lb. to 15.5 lb. are USCG approved and meet DOT requirements for heavy duty trucks, and 65 lb. and 150 lb. wheeled units serve large facilities.
