Overview
The ARB 61 inch by 51 inch BASE Rack Kit with 3/4 Front Guard Rail, part number ARBBASE263, is a black aluminum roof rack for the 2018–2022 Jeep Wrangler JL. It fits 2-door and 4-door trims of that generation.
The BASE rack is built from extruded aluminum beams. Each beam has extra aluminum bracing that runs the full length of its perimeter and through its internal cross-sections, which adds rigidity to the frame. The beams run horizontally rather than laterally, which ARB says gives maximum strength and rigidity without a subframe, so the rack can sit lower for a cleaner look.
