Overview
The T-Rex Stealth Metal Studded Bumper Grille (part 6729381-BR) is a bumper grille for the 2012–2015 Toyota Tacoma. It is the stealth version of the studded metal grille design, with black studs in place of the standard finish.
The Stealth Metal grilles carry the features of the regular X-Metal and Torch grilles. Stealth black studs are offered on all Torch grilles and most X-Metal grilles, which gives a blacked out look. Main grilles and bumper grilles are separate parts.

Stealth black studs are a finish choice, so the look depends on how well the rest of the front end matches. Black trim, wheels and lighting help the grille read as one piece, while bright chrome nearby can make the studs look like a separate accent.
Studded metal grilles take hits from gravel and branches more directly than smooth grilles, so the studs can chip over time. Keep a small amount of matching black touch-up paint on hand and fix chips early before the base metal shows.
Bumper grilles are mounted separately from the main grille, so plan the installation order carefully. Check the front sensors and any fog lights for clearance before the final tightening, and recheck the mounts after the first few drives.
