Overview
The T-Rex Grilles 46051 is a Sport Series formed mesh grille insert in black, sold as a two-piece (2 pc.) direct-fit part for the 2007–2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban and Tahoe. Grille inserts fill the open center of a vehicle’s front grille, and this insert adds a black formed mesh pattern to that opening for a finished look.
The insert is finished with a glossy black powder coat and three-stage polishing and cleaning at T-Rex’s Southern California facility. It is designed for bolt-on fitment with few tools and no cutting.

Handling a two-piece grille set
A two-piece grille set means the two halves must line up with each other as well as with the vehicle opening. Lay both pieces out and compare the edges, mesh pattern and mounting holes before fastening either one. Fitting one half first and then checking it against the other helps keep the gap even and the mesh pattern continuous across the grille.
Mesh patterns can catch on hands and tools, so wear gloves and handle the pieces by their edges. Any worn or bent clips should be replaced before the install, since a loose clip can let one half shift in the wind. After fitting, check the seam between the pieces at highway speed and after a short drive to confirm nothing has moved.

Model years after 2013 and Chevrolet models such as the Silverado are not covered. Check your year, model and trim before you order.
