Overview
The Bestop 58709-15 is a black denim tinted window kit for Bestop Supertop Classic #51709 and #54709 soft tops. It fits the 2004–2006 Jeep Wrangler (LJ) Unlimited and the 2003–2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). It supplies replacement windows with a 31% tint and matching surrounds.
The tint is meant to reduce the greenhouse effect that can turn a soft-topped Jeep into a sauna in hot weather. The windows are heat-sealed and replaceable, so one damaged panel can be swapped without replacing the whole top.

Window condition and replacement
Soft top windows spend their lives under sun, rain and road grime, and the plastic film can slowly lose clarity. Heat buildup inside a closed Jeep is a common reason owners replace panels early, so a tinted window that cuts glare can make the cab more comfortable on warm days. Tint does not repair a split or fogged window, so inspect each panel before deciding whether a replacement is needed.
Stretch the old window’s zipper track gently to check for bent teeth, and inspect the stitching where each window meets the frame. Matching the surround color helps a new panel blend with the top, but check the surrounds for fit before removing the old ones. Work in a dry, shaded area so the new zipper can seat cleanly without grit.
