Overview
The Bestop HOSS, a Rolling Hardtop and Door Organized Storage System in Black, part number 42805-01, is a wheeled cart for storing a Jeep Wrangler hardtop and its doors in one place. It is designed to store, protect and organize hardtops, doors and accessories together.
The Hardtop Cart attaches to the back of the hardtop while it is on the vehicle, which makes removal easier. A support bar protects the rear window during removal, and no additional clamps are needed. The cart works with factory and most aftermarket hardtops, and the cover is sold separately.

Keeping the cart steady
A wheeled cart makes a hardtop easier to move, but the load is high and off-center, so the cart needs care. Lock the casters before loading, and load the hardtop with a helper so the weight stays balanced. Move slowly over thresholds and gravel, since a sudden stop can shift the top and strain the frame.
Door carriers keep the doors upright and separated, which helps protect paint and seals. Place soft padding between the doors and the frame, and check straps or hardware before each use. Inspect the cart for loose bolts and worn wheels after several moves. Store the cart on a level surface out of direct sun, and keep a cover on the top if one is available. Plan storage space that allows the cart to roll out without bumping into other items.

Vehicle fitment
It is made for 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK) hardtops and doors.
Other Wrangler generations, including the TJ, LJ and JL, are not covered. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Hardtops are heavy, so have a helper on hand when lifting one onto or off the cart. The cart attaches to the back of the hardtop while the hardtop is still on the vehicle, and the support bar protects the rear window during removal.
