Description

Overview

The Tuff Country 30925 is a front sway bar end link kit for Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. It replaces part numbers 34003 and 36003 and includes hardware.

The kit uses heim joints to reduce suspension binding and improve articulation. Its threaded body fits stock height vehicles up to 3 inch of lift and works with Tuff Country lift kits from 2 inch to 6 inch.

Key features

  • Heim joints to reduce suspension binding
  • Threaded body for height adjustment
  • Includes hardware
  • Replacement for part numbers 34003 and 36003
  • Front position

Heim joints and maintenance

Heim joints use a steel ball running in a race, which lets the link pivot in more than one direction. That movement cuts binding when the suspension cycles, but it also means dirt and water can reach the ball. Inspect the joint for play, rust on the ball and damaged seals, and clean away grit before it works into the bearing surface.

Because the threaded body sets the length, re-check the jam nut and the joint angle after any adjustment. Heavier trucks often carry more front axle load, so look at the mounting points and the bar bushings during the same job. Keep a record of the setting for your lift height so future adjustments start from a known point.
