Overview
The Skyjacker C966SBL-S is a single front extended sway bar end link for lifted Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs. It replaces one original end link and corrects the sway bar angle after a lift.
Extended sway bar end links correct the sway bar angle after a lift. Skyjacker’s notes say a drop kit does this by lowering the frame mount, while extended links do it by swapping the original link for a longer one. The C966SBL-S is built from 4140H steel with a zinc coating and includes polyurethane bushings.

Matching links on both sides
Sway bar end links are normally replaced in pairs, because the two sides share the same load and wear pattern. A single replacement can leave one side with a different length and angle, which may change how the truck tracks and how evenly the bar loads at each end. When you buy one unit, confirm the other side’s link is the same part before the install, and do not mix old and new lengths.
On trucks with a lift, the sway bar links carry more angle than the factory allowed, so inspect the frame brackets and bar bushings at the same time. Look for cracked welds, worn bushing sleeves and any clunk over bumps. Retighten the fasteners after the first few drives, and recheck the link after heavy off-road use.

Installation notes
Because the link is non-adjustable, the length has to match your lift, so check the fit at the mounting points before starting. Minor drilling may be required on certain models. Support the vehicle securely while swapping the link.
