Overview
The Trail Gear Rock Defense Jeep front bumper in bare steel, part number 303141-2-KIT, is a stubby-width, bolt-on bumper made from 1/4 inch steel for the 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ. Trail Gear brake-forms it for a precise fit and says it needs zero welding for installation.
The integrated winch plate is pre-drilled for most 5000-10000 model low-profile winches, and its fairlead mount works with a hawse or a roller fairlead. Installation notes
Trail Gear says the bumper is fully bolt-on and needs no welding. The kit comes with black grade 8 hardware and extended winch mount hardware, and bare steel will want a finish applied before the bumper sees weather.
