Overview
The TeraFlex 753005 is a front sway bar link for 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles. It is a non-disconnect link, so the sway bar stays connected for street use, and it is built for Wranglers with 3-4 inches of lift.
The upper end has an OEM quality narrow shoulder ball socket designed for low maintenance, long-term durability and quiet operation. The lower end uses a large polyurethane ball and pin, which makes the link easier to remove when the sway bar needs service. The link reacts immediately as the sway bar loads, which reduces play compared with stock rubber sway bar link bushings and improves lateral control and steering response.
Key features
- Upper end: OEM quality narrow shoulder ball socket for no-maintenance durability and quiet operation.
- Lower end: large polyurethane ball and pin for straightforward sway bar link removal.
- Non-disconnect design for street use, with immediate reaction during sway bar loading.
- Reduces play compared with stock rubber sway bar link bushings.
- Front position, for Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles with 3″-4″ of lift.
Choosing and replacing sway bar links
A sway bar link connects the sway bar to the suspension arm or axle, so it carries the side-to-side loads that the bar resists during cornering. When the link wears, the bar can move with extra play, and the vehicle may feel looser through turns and over uneven ground. Worn ball sockets, torn boots and hardened bushings are common signs that a link needs attention.
Lift height changes the geometry of the link. A link that is too short or too long for the suspension can bind at full travel or put stress on the joints, so match the link to the lift range before installing it. Many owners replace the links together so both sides match, and they often inspect the sway bar bushings and brackets at the same time.
Inspect the link after installation by checking for free movement in the joints and clearance at full suspension travel. Retighten the fasteners after the first few drives and recheck them periodically.
- Check for play by hand at each joint
- Look for torn boots or cracked rubber
- Replace links in pairs when one side wears
